Professor Craig Ramsay, SISCC Lead for Improvement Science Methods and Programme Director
Professor Craig Ramsay is Programme Director and Professor of Health Care Assessment at the Health Services Research Unit, University of Aberdeen.
His research focuses on evaluating interventions intended to improve effectiveness and efficiencies in the NHS. Developing associated methodologies to make such evaluations more robust characterises much of his work. He has a strong track record in undertaking and leading collaborative, multidisciplinary research approaches to quality improvement issues. He has a range of external collaborations and networks with improvement scientists and methodologists worldwide through his editorship in Cochrane Collaboration Effective Practice and Organisational Care Group, membership of the Royal Society of Edinburgh Young Academy and various international research projects.
