Kevin Geddes, Third Sector Core Partner
Kevin Geddes is Director of Development and Improvement, Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE).
He has been working with the ALLIANCE since November 2008 and in the voluntary sector for over 20 years. The ALLIANCE is a national voluntary organisation representing the shared voice of our members across Scotland. Its members are themselves voluntary and community organisations, big and small, who support disabled people, people living with long term conditions and their unpaid carers. His role is primarily to implement, promote and develop ‘Gaun Yersel’ – the Self Management Strategy for Scotland. He works in partnership with its members, as well as health and social care professionals, managers, policy makers and leaders to thread the principles of self management contained within the strategy into practice.
