Sense about Science workshop recap

Last week, SISCC researcher Dr Madalina Toma attended the Sense about Science media workshop: Standing up for Science. The event was an opportunity for young researchers to get together and respond to public misconceptions about science and engage with the media. The goal of these workshops is to change the way the public and the media view science and the people who work in STEM.

Here’s a video that will tell you more about the Voice of Young Science (VoYS) network which hosted the day.

For more about three interactive panels included in the workshop, you can read the recap by one of the attendees, University of Glasgow researcher Chas Nelson, on his blog The Little Eye.
